Sonia was recommended to me by Andrea at Mae Bridal, Witney. I recently got married abroad in Lake Garda, Italy and knew that I was looking for a lightweight dress. Sonia is super friendly, professional and was very patient. The dress I chose did fit particularly well to begin, however I did need it to be taken in a little and as the style was lace with mesh at the front and back on the top half which meant I was unable to wear a bra underneath, I was hoping Sonia could help me achieve the right support to feel comfortable on the day and without changing the lace detail too much. I had two fittings, and to my surprise the dress fitted perfectly, it was super comfortable and smooth where the excess material had been taken away. The dress also needed to be taken up in Length, but unusually I had two pairs of shoes for my wedding day! Most of the town we were getting married in is cobbled and therefore it can be very difficult to walk around in heels. Sonia helped to alter the length of the dress so that it was suitable to wear both heels and flats. She also checked that all the buttons on the back were secure as well as adding a loop to make walking and dancing easier. I would highly recommend Sonia,the dress was finished to a very high standard and she has a brilliant eye for detail. Thank you so much!

Sonia was recommended to me from the shop I purchased my wedding dress, Mae Bridal. I was thankful of the recommendation, as alterations to your wedding dress can be quite daunting. Sonia was lovely from the first time I met her and she was very reassuring, it was obvious she had a lot of experience in tailoring. She understood exactly what I wanted and didn't move on to the next area until I was completely satisfied. She completed the following alterations to my dress - took hem up, took it in round waist, hips and bottom and she also fitted bra cups for me. My wedding dress had an eyelash lace hem which she took up beautifully and even when I had a slight dilemma of having the wrong shoes for my final fitting, she was calm and through knowing the rough height of my shoes, she fixed it for me. My dress fitted like a dream on the day and I have Sonia to thank for her intricate work. She loves her job, she communicates well with dates for fittings and be reassured she will do a great job of any alterations she will do for you. Thank you so much Sonia!
