I can’t even put into words how lovely, helpful and supportive Sonia has been. Such a lovely lady, making sure I was happy with all the changes/alterations on my dress throughout the process, not to mention that due to Covid all 3 of my fittings had to be done in 1 week. She is just amazing and I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you so much x

I knew Sonia already as she did the alterations for my sister's wedding dress and my bridesmaid dress a couple of years ago - these were great and we all got on with Sonia so well so I knew I wanted her to make the alterations to my wedding dress too.

We did have a bit of unexpected news just before alterations were due to start, in that I found out I was pregnant and so would be about 7 and a half months gone by the time the wedding day came around. Although we were over the moon about the baby, I did panic slightly and assumed I would no longer be able to wear the beautiful Essence of Australia dress I'd bought and would have to buy a separate maternity dress instead.

However, I contacted Sonia, explained the situation and sent her photos of the dress (pre-pregnancy!). She came back to me very quickly and immediately put me at ease, reassuring me that all would be fine and she could work her magic on my dress so as to accommodate a bump which made me feel a lot better.

Throughout our fittings in the lead up to the date and in our communication in between, Sonia continued to be so lovely and reassuring and filled me with confidence that the dress would look great on the day. The actual adjustments that she made to my wedding dress were the work of a pure genius! You would never know that the dress had been altered - it looked incredible and I got so many compliments on the day - people couldn't believe that it wasn't a maternity dress and had been altered. It looked perfect. She also did a fantastic job with my 4 bridesmaid dresses.

I would highly recommend Sonia for bridal adjustments - she is such a lovely lady and the work she does is second to none. Thank you so much Sonia :) xxx
